1. General PolicyGlobalshyp operates as a technology-enabled courier aggregation and logistics platform connecting users with third-party courier and logistics partners.Refunds and cancellations are subject to:Courier partner policiesShipment statusOperational feasibilityVerification and investigation processesApplicable deductions and chargesGlobalshyp reserves the right to approve or reject refund requests based on operational records and courier partner responses.
2. Shipment Cancellation PolicyA. Cancellation Before PickupUsers may request shipment cancellation before pickup is completed.In such cases:Shipping charges may be refunded partially or fullyPayment gateway charges and platform fees may be deductedRefund timelines shall depend on banking and payment systems
B. Cancellation After PickupOnce a shipment has been picked up:Cancellation may not be possibleShipping charges become non-refundableRTO (Return to Origin) or reverse logistics charges may apply
C. International Shipment CancellationFor international shipments:Cancellation after customs processing may not be permittedCustoms duties, clearance fees, and operational charges may remain payable
3. Refund EligibilityRefunds may be considered in the following situations:Failed pickup due to courier operational issuesDuplicate payment transactionsIncorrect billing caused by system errorsShipment not picked up within the committed timeline (subject to verification)Service non-availability after successful paymentApproved lost shipment claims as per courier policiesRefund approval is solely at the discretion of Globalshyp and courier partners.
4. Non-Refundable SituationsRefunds shall not be applicable for:Incorrect shipment details provided by the userWrong address or consignee informationCustomer unavailable at delivery locationRefused deliveriesDelays caused by weather, strikes, customs, lockdowns, or force majeureVolumetric weight disputes validated by courier partnersProhibited or restricted shipment itemsShipments seized by authoritiesFailed delivery attempts due to recipient issues
5. Lost & Damaged Shipment ClaimsA. Claim SubmissionUsers must report lost or damaged shipments within the prescribed claim timeline communicated by Globalshyp.Claims must include:Invoice copyProduct value proofShipment images (if applicable)Packaging proofSupporting documentation requested by the Company
B. LiabilityCompensation, if approved:Shall be governed by courier partner liability policiesMay be limited to shipment value or declared liability amountShall not include indirect or consequential lossesGlobalshyp acts as a facilitator and liability may be restricted to the amount recoverable from the courier partner.
6. COD (Cash on Delivery) Refunds & SettlementsCOD remittance timelines depend on courier partner reconciliation cycles.Delays caused by banking systems or courier processing are beyond Globalshyp’s direct control.COD disputes must be raised within the specified dispute window.Globalshyp reserves the right to hold COD settlements in cases involving:Fraud investigationsDelivery disputesAccount verificationChargebacks or suspicious transactions
7. Refund Processing TimelinesApproved refunds are generally processed within:7–10 business days for online payments10–15 business days for bank transfer settlementsActual credit timelines may vary depending on:BanksPayment gatewaysFinancial institutionsCourier reconciliation cycles
8. Wallet & Credit BalanceIf applicable, Globalshyp may issue:Wallet creditsAccount balance adjustmentsPromotional creditsSuch credits:May be non-transferableMay not be redeemable for cashMay carry validity limitations
9. Fraudulent ActivitiesGlobalshyp reserves the right to:Reject refund requestsSuspend accountsHold payments or COD settlementsin cases involving:Fraudulent transactionsFake ordersShipment manipulationAbuse of refund systemsSuspicious operational activitiesLegal action may be initiated where necessary.
10. Force MajeureNo refund or compensation shall be applicable for delays or disruptions caused by:Natural disastersGovernment restrictionsCustoms delaysPandemic situationsPolitical unrestTransportation disruptionsTechnical failures beyond reasonable control
11. Modification of PolicyGlobalshyp reserves the right to update, amend, or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Governing Law & JurisdictionThis Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi, India.
